The Chosen Series started and which started out as a crowd-funded project and has now become a worldwide phenomenon as the most successful crowdfunded TV series to date! A global hit, "The Chosen" has been viewed more than 500M times, with more than 20M unique app downloads, and has been translated into more than 50 languages across seven continents, in 190 countries. Because of its immense streaming and box office success, the show was recently picked up for distribution by Lionsgate and recently began airing its first three seasons on the CW Network in July 2023.
Known for his expertise in audience development and project distribution, Derral has been the driving force behind countless video projects over the past two decades, and most notably, his work with "The Chosen," whose numbers are competitive with shows such as "Breaking Bad" and "Game of Thrones." The show is also currently available for streaming on Netflix, Prime Video, Peacock, Fox Nation, for free on TheChosen.tv app, and is also available on DVD at Walmart. The franchise has collectively garnered more than $35M at the domestic box office, which includes episodes and a Fathom Events Christmas movie ("The Chosen" was #1 at the box office for its Fathom opening weekend, beating out "Avatar").
