To the outside world, Dr. Mark Halpern was a confident and capable chiropractor with a growing practice. But he was hiding a double life. Dr. Mark excelled at sports and loved the rush of extreme outdoor adventures. Yet, he was also a man suffering from crippling anxiety when not caring for a patient or skiing down a steep mountain.  

It began in childhood, but his anxiety dogged him through college and into his adult life. A family man with two kids, he desperately sought solutions in traditional and behavioral therapy and the new emerging stress-reducing, self-development practices. Several solutions showed promise but inevitably would take months or even years to make any progress. Nothing had the impact he sought until he began to discover the power of creating COHERENCE…

To do that requires an ability to step back and get into a state of coherence, most importantly, by changing one's physical and emotional state. It takes practice to change your emotional setpoint, but as Mark says, he "practiced" anxiety through constant repetition for many years. Coherence can also be learned and advanced through practice. And the benefits don't take years…they can be felt and perceived almost immediately. You don't have to overcome your past; you merely need to step into your bright and serene future through the present.
